On April 19-20th, the Austrian Presidency of EISC will kickstart its activities under the annual theme “Space to support the green transition in an evolving space economy” : and will organise its traditional workshop under the topic “space-based data to support the green transition: from the upstream to the downstream space economy”.
The workshop will span over two days and will include one day of discussions and debates and one day of visits in Austrian space industries and space sites.
During the workshop, speakers will address the changing space economy and how space-based data support the green transition. A particular focus will be placed on the role of space to support climate policymaking as well as the rising importance of downstream applications and the role of the Earth Observation industry in fostering this new economic and industrial ecosystem.
A draft programme will soon be uploaded on the website and shared with EISC members
